Learn how to enable add-ons in X-Cart.

Sometimes the add-on you want to use is installed but not active. To use such an add-on, you need to activate it.

To activate an installed add-on:

  1. In your store’s Admin area, go to the My Apps page of the X-Cart App Store:

  2. On the My Apps page, locate the add-on that needs to be activated (for example, Add to Cart Popup):

  3. Click on the add-on name to see the details:

  4. Switch the toggle to ON. The add-on is automatically marked for further alterations and added to the list of selected add-ons:


    You can activate more than one add-on at once. Just set the toggle for all add-ons you want to enable to ON. All marked add-ons fall into the list of selected.

  5. Click Apply changes.

    The add-on activation starts. Then follows the store re-deployment process, which may take a while to complete. The changes apply to all selected add-ons.

Once the process completes, you will find the add-on active and ready to use:

The recently installed add-ons display on the My Apps page with the Recently enabled filter applied. If an add-on requires further configuration, it will have a clickable Settings link.
