Changing the Logo, Favicon and Apple Icon with the Theme Tweaker (X-Cart 5.4.x and earlier)

Learn how to change your store logo, favicon, and Apple icon using the Layout Editor tool.

The Layout Editor tool of the Theme Tweaker allows changing the default X-Cart logo, favicon, and Apple icon directly on the storefront.

For this purpose:

  1. When logged in as a store administrator, click on the Layout Editor tab at the bottom of any page in the storefront:

    The Layout Editor tool will open.

  2. Refer to the Logo & Favicon section to select the element you will change.

  3. Click the image icon (logo, favicon, or app icon) to see a dropdown with possible actions.

    Your options are:

    • View current image

    • Upload a new image (with a checkbox to select whether to copy the new image to the file system or not)

    • Delete image

  4. Click Save to make the changes active.
