What payment methods can I use for my X-Cart bills?

You can pay your X-Cart bills using a credit or debit card, PayPal, or wire transfer. Upon subscribing to our services, you will receive an email πŸ“© with a payment link. After settling your first invoice, your subscription will be set for auto-charge by default.

πŸ’‘ Auto-charge cannot be enabled for merchants in India

Due to legal restrictions, you must manually settle your invoices. On the billing date, you will receive an email with a payment link to extend your subscription.

Most X-Cart products have either a one-time charge or a recurring subscription fee billed monthly, quarterly, or annually. Thus, you may have multiple charges within a billing period for different products, unless you started all your subscriptions on the same day.


My card payment is declined or failed. What should I do?

Typically, this indicates one of three things:

  1. Default card has insufficient funds πŸ’Έ.

  2. Bank blocked β›” transaction due to suspicious activity or spending pattern.

  3. Card expired or reported lost πŸš“.

You will receive an email notification regarding this issue from either the payment processor (Stripe, PayPro, FastSpring, 2Checkout), your bank, or our billing department.

To keep your website and subscriptions active, remember to πŸ“¨ let us know about any changes to your payment information.

πŸ’‘ Plan Ahead

Before you subscribe to our services, contact your bank and ensure your card is valid for the billing period to avoid any service disruptions.


How can I update my card information with X-Cart?

Stripe

X-Cart customers billed via Stripe can update their payment information by contacting us at πŸ“¨ billing@x-cart.com. They will then receive an invoice link. Using a new card to pay will automatically set it as the new default payment method.

PayPro

X-Cart customers charged through PayPro must manually update their payment information using the steps below:

  1. Log in to PayPro with the email used for payment.

  2. Navigate to 'My Credit Card' and click 'Add New Card' to input payment details.

  3. Find 'Subscriptions' and pick the one to update.

  4. Click 'Change card'.

  5. Choose πŸ”˜ your new card from the list to make it the main payment method.


How to pay for X-Cart using PayPal?

Please send us an inquiry at πŸ“¨ billing@x-cart.com if you prefer to pay for the X-Cart services using your PayPal account.


My PayPal payment has been rejected. What should I do?

If your PayPal account is used for subscription payments and a renewal fails, it could be due to the following reasons:

  • Your account has insufficient funds πŸ’Έ .

  • PayPal declined the transaction πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈ .

There are two options to fix declined transaction:

  1. Contact PayPal to authorize recurring payments for X-Cart company.

  2. Cancel your current subscription and start a new one with a different PayPal account or credit card. Do this in the 'Subscriptions' section of your PayPro Global dashboard, or contact us to do it.


How can I view or export my invoices?

Go to 'Orders' in the HelpDesk to view your complete billing history with X-Cart. There, you can download printable invoices 🧾 from the last 365 days. For older invoices, contact our support team.

Can I change my subscription plan before the current billing cycle ends?

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any point during your subscription cycle. However, if you make changes before the current period ends πŸ“†, the fees for that period are non-refundable and must still be paid.

Before proceeding with a downgrade, seek advice from our support team. Eligibility for downgrading depends on the size and complexity of your website. Remember that losing certain features may affect your web store performance.


How to cancel X-Cart services and get a refund on billing charges?

You can terminate your paid subscription at any time by contacting X-Cart support. Once the subscription is canceled, your credit card will no longer be charged.

To request a refund or receive assistance with billing errors, please contact us directly at πŸ“¨ billing@x-cart.com. Please note that not all products and services are eligible for refund or exchange. For more details, please refer to the X-Cart Terms of Service.
