X-Cart's Amazon Integration enables you to export product information from your X-Cart store to Amazon through product feeds. This functionality not only allows you to list products from your X-Cart store on Amazon but also facilitates the updating of product details for items already listed on Amazon. If any product properties, such as description, quantity in stock, or price, are modified in your X-Cart store, you can manually submit a feed to Amazon or configure the store to periodically submit feeds automatically, ensuring that these changes are accurately reflected on Amazon.

Automated Feed Submissions

You can configure your X-Cart store to automatically submit feeds to Amazon at scheduled intervals. To enable this feature, navigate to the Import & Export Options section in the marketplace settings and activate the setting "Automatically sync X-Cart product updates to Amazon." Then use the "Update" setting below it to specify the update mode you wish to use. Please note that automated feed submissions also require a specific server environment setup.

Manual Feed Submissions

As an alternative to automated feed submissions, it is possible to submit feeds to Amazon manually. It can be done in your store's Admin area from the Marketplaces tab of the Amazon page or from any product list page.

Submitting Feeds from the Marketplaces tab

On the Marketplaces tab of the Amazon page, you can choose to submit a feed by clicking the Submit feeds button.

If you have multiple connected marketplaces/accounts and no specific marketplaces are selected, feeds will be submitted for all your active marketpaces/accounts (the ones with the "On" status).

If you need to submit feeds just for some specific marketplace(s)/account(s), select the respective marketplace(s)/account(s) by selecting the check box(es) in front of their name(s) before clicking the Submit feeds button.

Upon clicking the Submit feeds button, a popup appears asking you to select the type of feeds to submit to Amazon.

In the popup, three checkbox options are provided:

  • Product (all product information, including product name, description, images, etc.);

  • Pricing (only product price info);

  • Inventory (only product stock info).

Select the feed type(s) you wish to submit and click the Submit button.

Your X-Cart store will generate the specified type(s) of feed and submit it/them to Amazon.

Submitting Feeds from a Product List

It is possible to submit an Amazon feed from any product list page in the Admin area of your store. This could be your general product list, a list of products in a specific category, or a filtered list based on certain parameters. Below the product list, you will find a button for submitting feeds to Amazon.

Clicking this button reveals a submenu allowing you to specify how exactly you wish to export information to Amazon.

To export product information to Amazon:

  1. In the product list, select the products you wish to export. Skip this step if you wish to export all the products from the list.

  2. Click the Amazon button.

  3. In the Amazon button submenu, choose the destination of your feed submission (Choose All Amazon sites or a specific Amazon marketplace/account). Then choose the type of feed you wish to export:

    • Export products (all product information, including product name, description, images, etc.),

    • Export inventory (only product stock info),

    • Export price (only product price info).

Your X-Cart store will generate the specified type of feed and submit it to Amazon.
