The Go Social add-on settings page allows configuring the following options:

Facebook Share

This option allows store visitors to use the Share button on the product details page for sharing information about it on their timeline, in groups, or to their friends via a Facebook Message.

Settings to configure:

  • Display the Share button on product pages: Use the ON/OFF toggle to enable/disable the Facebook Share button on the product details page in the storefront.

Facebook Like

This option is an alternative to the Facebook Share option. When your customer clicks the Like button under a product on the product page, the content appears in the News Feeds of that user's friends.

Settings to configure:

  • Display the Like button on product pages: Use the ON/OFF toggle to enable/disable the option. The controller will only display if the Facebook application ID option is configured.

  • Layout style: Use the drop-down to configure the design of Facebook Like on the product page.
    You can select one of the three suggested display modes:

    • standard - displays social text to the right of the button and friends' profile photos below;

    • button - displays the total number of likes to the right of the controller;

    • box - displays the total number of likes above the button.
