Sometimes automatic shipment allocation doesn’t go as planned. Stock may change, supplier quotas may expire, or a specific warehouse might become unavailable. In such cases, you may need to step in, reassign products, and redistribute shipments manually.

In this guide, you’ll learn when manual editing is possible, how to create and remove, and how changes appear in your order details and history.

When you can edit shipments

Your ability to edit shipments depends on warehouse settings and automation rules.

If automatic supplier submission and Send Shipment Info to Warehouse are:

Enabled

You can edit shipments from your own warehouses and from WD while the order is not yet Paid.

Shipments from WD warehouses can be edited in New status only.

Disabled

You can edit any shipment except those marked Shipped.

Where to Manage Shipments

  1. Go to Orders › Orders.

  2. Find the order you want to assign a shipment to and click its order #.

  3. Open the Shipments tab.

This tab displays all shipments linked to the order, along with any Products Not in Shipments.

Adjust or remove an existing shipment of a product

If you want to delete a product or reduce its quantity, the item must not be part of any shipment. Remove the existing shipment and create a new one with the correct setup:

  1. In the Shipments tab, locate the shipment that includes the product you need.

  2. Click three dots on the shipment.

  3. Click Remove shipment & unassign items.

  4. (Optional) Check Return the items from this shipment to their original stock if you want the items restocked.

  5. Click Confirm.

The unassigned products will move to Products Not in Shipments, and the removed shipment will be archived under Removed Shipments.

💡 If a Turn 14 shipment is part of a group, removing it cancels the entire group.

Create a new shipment

Use this section to assign products to a shipment from available warehouse locations.

  1. In Products Not in Shipments, select the items to include.

  2. Pick a Ship-from location.

  3. Check the Quantity on location column to see how many items are available at that warehouse.

  4. In the Quantity column, enter the number of items to include in the shipment.

  5. Click the three dots icon and select Create new shipment.

  6. (Optional) In the popup, you choose whether Deduct the items in this shipment from inventory at the selected location.

  7. Select Shipping method.

  8. Click Create to finalize the shipment.

Once created, the new shipment appears on the Shipments tab.

If a product can’t be shipped from a selected location, it’ll be greyed out and show a note like Cannot be shipped from this location.

If selected quantities exceed available stock, the stock number turns red.

If creation fails (for example, due to a WD error), a red message will appear with the reason.

Edit Order Items

To delete products from an order or reduce their quantity:

  1. Remove and unassign all shipments that include the product.

  2. Go to the General Info tab and find the product in the list.

  3. Adjust its Quantity or click the trash can icon to delete it.

  4. Click Save changes.

Any changes you make here will also apply to Products Not in Shipments. If a product’s quantity changes or the product is deleted, it will be reflected there as well.

If the order was edited, the General Info tab will display the Original shipping cost and Original total before changes. You must recalculate totals before saving.

All order changes appear in the Order History at the bottom of the General Info tab, and shipment changes appear in the Shipment History under the Shipments tab.

View order and shipment history

All changes you apply are logged and can be found:

  • General Info tab › Order history

  • Shipments › Shipment history
