Order Tracking Info

You can provide buyers with tracking information for their orders. This involves two steps:

Saving a Tracking Number in the Order Details

Once you have an order tracking number for an order, you can add this number to the order details in the Admin area:

  1. Find the order you require (Orders > Orders) and open its details for viewing/editing.

  2. On the General info tab of the order details, click the Add tracking number button.

    A new blank field will be displayed on the same page.

  3. Enter the tracking number into this field and save the changes by clicking the Save changes button at the bottom of the screen.

    The number will be saved in the order details.

    If necessary, it is possible to add multiple tracking numbers for the same order by repeating steps 2-3. This way you can get a list of tracking numbers with information about the date and time when each specific tracking number was added to the order details.

    After adding a tracking number, you will be able to see the respective action logged in the order history (available via a link at the top of the General info tab of the order details).

Sending Order Tracking Information to Customer

Once you have a tracking number saved in the details of an order, you can share the order tracking info with the customer:

  1. Open the order you require for viewing/editing. On the General info tab of the order details, check that the order tracking info section lists the tracking numbers you want to send.

  2. Click the Send tracking info button.

    The tracking information will be sent to the customer's email. When this happens, a success message will be shown at the top of the page.

    You will be able to see the respective action logged in the order history (available via a link at the top of the General info tab of the order details).
