You can access products imported from Keystone:

  • through brand product number links on the Data Import tab of Keystone integration page:

(Clicking on such a link allows you to see a list of Keystone products of the specific brand.)

  • through the Products page (Catalog > Products).

(As usual, you can use filtering to find products based on various criteria; products imported from Keystone will be marked with "Keystone" labels.)

Please note that Keystone does not provide detailed catalog information for products, such as images or descriptions. Products imported from Keystone will include only essential details, such as the product name, attributes, dimensions, weight, prices, and stock levels. To populate the remaining product details, you will need to obtain information from external sources, such as catalog providers like ASAP Network or SEMA Data, whereas Keystone imports will be used primarily for accessing the price and stock information.

Given that sourcing catalog data from providers like ASAP Network or SEMA Data involves utilizing another one of X-Cart's automotive integrations, your store will likely have more than one of X-Cart's automotive integrations enabled. For this reason, it is crucial to clearly identify the source of your product stock and price data for each product. Specifically, for products you intend to sell via Keystone, you will need to ensure that the stock and price data used in your catalog are from Keystone, not from another automotive integration.

Important: The current version of X-Cart's Keystone integration does not support the use of local stock. Although there are no technical restrictions on specifying local stock for products imported from Keystone, indicating local stock for products you will sell via Keystone is not practical. Customers will not be able to order quantities exceeding the stock quantity available in Keystone. For example, if Keystone warehouses hold 3 units of a product and your store's warehouse holds an additional 2 units, a customer will be able to add up to 5 units of this product to their cart. However, the checkout process will be blocked for them because the current version of the Keystone integration does not account for the local stock available in your store. Based on the integration's information, only 3 units of the product are available, so it will not allow the customer to place an order exceeding this quantity. Please note that this issue is a concern only if selling the same product from both Keystone's stock and your own store's local stock. There won't be a problem utilizing local stock for products that are not imported from Keystone. If you need to sell the same product through both Keystone and your own warehouse, you will need to artificially separate the stocks— for example, by creating a separate product (with a different name) to be sold from your store's warehouse.

You can control the stock quantities of specific products in your store's catalog via the Inventory Tracking tab of product details.

Before making your store's catalog available to customers, you should check and adjust the information reflecting your products' stock availability.

For products imported from Keystone, the Inventory Tracking tab provides a separate section with settings regarding the product's Keystone stock (Keystone Stock).

There is also a section for managing settings regarding the store's local stock (Local Stock), and if other automotive integrations with stock of their own (for example, Turn14 Distribution) are active in the same store, there will also be sections for managing stock settings for those other automotive integrations.

In the Keystone Stock section, you will find the setting to enable/disable use of Keystone stock:

  • Use Keystone stock: On/Off

This setting should be enabled for all products that you intend to sell via Keystone.

In the same section, you will find the stock quantity of the product currently available in Keystone (Keystone stock all warehouses - X items).

Keystone integration ignores the information in the Local Stock section and the sections with the stock settings of other automotive integrations; for Keystone products, sales happen only from Keystone stock.
