The "Auto catalog import" add-on allows you to set stock priority for products in your X-Cart store. This needs to be done if your store uses more than one stock source for products. For example, this may be the case when your store is configured to import stock information using more than one auto data provider integration or when your store has its own product stock in addition to product stock provided by auto data provider integration(s).

Stock priority settings for the store in general can be configured using the Stock & Price Priority section on the "Auto catalog import" add-on settings page.

Listed in that section are "My Store" (the store's own stock) and auto data provider integrations that are currently enabled and configured to provide product stock data to your X-Cart store via the API. As you enable and connect new integrations, they are added to the top of the list. The integration at the top of the list has the highest priority in terms of which stock will be used to sell products.

Please note that the current implementation does not yet support automatically switching to the stock source next on the list if a product being ordered is found to be out of stock in the topmost stock source. Your X-Cart store will only use the topmost stock source to sell products, and if a product is unavailable from that stock source, it will be marked as out of stock and unavailable for sale. To continue selling this product, you will need to manually adjust the stock settings for that specific product using the "Inventory" tab of the product details.

The "Inventory" tab of the product details allows you to adjust the stock priority settings at the level of the product. First of all, to enable stock quantity tracking for a product, switch the Track quantity toggle to the "On" (active) state. After that, the page will provide a list of stock sources for the product. Look through the list and enable the stock source from which you want to sell the product.
