Most automotive integrations import prices in US dollars (USD). The exception is SEMA Data and Keystone, which may provide prices in other currencies.
If your business operates outside the U.S. (e.g., in Canada, Mexico, or the UK), you can convert imported product prices to your local currency.
Step 1. Find Currency & Price Conversion section
Each integration has a specific section for currency settings, which we will configure in this guide.
To access it in your X-Cart Admin
Go to Catalog › Catalog Import › Settings.
Select your integration tab (e.g., Wheel Pros, Turn 14, ATD).
Scroll down to the Currency & Price Conversion.
Step 2. Set Your Default Currency
This is the currency you will accept payments in (e.g., EUR).
Click Manage in the Currency & Price Conversion section,
or go to Store › Localization › Currencies.
Step 3. Set currency to Import
Next, let’s choose the currency you want for imported product prices.
In the Currency & Price Conversion section, click the Currency to Import selector.
Select your preferred currency from the list. If only USD is available, it will be set automatically.
Note: Selecting a currency doesn’t guarantee that prices in that currency will always be available.
4. Set Conversion Rate
Finally, let’s set the exchange rate to convert imported prices to your store's default currency.
To set the exchange rate:
Under Currency & Price Conversion, click the Conversion Rate field.
Enter the exchange rate. For example, if 1 USD = 0.93 EUR and your default currency is Euro, enter 0.93.
After you set conversion rate, click Save Changes.
✅ And you're done!
Next time you import products, prices will be converted based on your settings.
