Before you Start

  1. Open a Dealer Account with Wheel Pros.

  2. Register for the data portal using your dealer account credentials.

  3. Contact Wheel Pros at data@wheelpros.com to request API access for X-Cart.

  4. Install and enable the Wheel Pros add-on in X-Cart.

⚠️ Important: Use WheelPros Together with AutoSync

We strongly recommend using WheelPros alongside AutoSync to ensure accurate catalog and fitment information. This combination provides correct fitment data in your storefront since both wheels and tires rely on compatible attributes for filtering. Using them together is essential for the best customer and merchant experience.

Part 1: Connecting X-Cart to Wheel Pros

To start selling Wheel Pros products, you’ll need to link your X-Cart store to your Wheel Pros account using your API credentials.

Steps:

  1. Go to CatalogCatalog Import.

  2. Select Wheel Pros under the Settings tab.

  3. Under API & FTP Credentials, enter your Wheel Pros account username and password.

  4. Optional: Enable the Test Mode toggle to explore how the Wheel Pros integration works without processing real orders or spending money.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Part 2: Set Your Delivery Warehouse

Next, choose the warehouse you'll use as the stock location for shipping your products. Make sure the warehouse you select in X-Cart matches the one set in your Wheel Pros account.

Selecting CLEVELAND, OH, STOW, OHIO, 44224 as the Preferred Warehouse Location in the X-Cart admin to match the setting in the Wheelpros account.

You can check it under My Account › Account Information › Preferred Warehouse Location on the Wheel Pros site.

Steps:

  1. Go to CatalogCatalog Import.

  2. Select Wheel Pros under the Settings tab.

  3. In the Preferred Warehouse Location section, click the Warehouse Location selector and choose a desired warehouse address.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Part 3: Configuring Flat Shipping Rates for Wheel Pros

Wheel Pros doesn’t give shipping costs upfront. They calculate shipping only after the order is paid (marked as PAID in X-Cart). This means your customers can’t see these shipping charges during checkout.

To avoid this, you can set up Flat Shipping Rates in your store. This way, customers pay an estimated shipping fee when they place the order.

Just keep in mind: the actual shipping cost from Wheel Pros may be different. Be sure to set your flat rates carefully to avoid unexpected costs or needing to issue refunds later.

💡 Can I use real-time shipping rates like UPS or FedEx?
No — those won’t work. Since Wheel Pros ships the orders themselves, you need to set up flat rates manually.

Steps:

  1. Go to CatalogCatalog Import.

  2. Select Wheel Pros under the Settings tab.

  3. Click Manage under the Shipping Methods section.

  4. On the next page, find Flat Shipping Rates and click Add New.

  5. Enter the required details.

  6. In the Apply to Stock selector, choose Wheel Pros.

  7. Click Create.

Make sure to deselect Wheel Pros in all other Flat Shipping and Carrier-based shipping methods. This ensures that customers ordering Wheel Pros products will only see shipping options that match the warehouse you selected.

✅ Congrats! You've connected to WheelPros.

You can now start using Wheel Pros to sell and deliver products.
