Part 3: Configuring Shipping Quotes for Wheel Pros

Wheel Pros doesn’t provide upfront shipping quotes for its dealers, and calculates shipping charges only after the order is paid (marked as PAID in X-Cart). This means customers won’t see the shipping costs at checkout.

To avoid this and ensure customers are charged an estimated shipping cost upfront, you’ll need to manually set up flat rates.

Keep in mind that the final shipping charges from Wheel Pros may differ from your estimate, so plan accordingly to avoid extra work, unexpected costs, or the need to issue refunds later.

Can I use Calculated Shipping Rates for convenience?
No, unfortunately, you can’t. Automated shipping calculators like UPS, FedEx, or DHL won’t work because Wheel Pros handles shipping directly. Be sure to set up Flat Shipping Rates instead.

Steps:

  1. Go to CatalogCatalog Import.

  2. Select Wheel Pros under the Settings tab.

  3. Click Manage under the Shipping Methods section.

  4. On the next page, find Flat Shipping Rates and click Add New.

  5. Enter the required details.

  6. In the Apply to Stock selector, choose Wheel Pros.

  7. Click Create.

Make sure to deselect Wheel Pros in all other Flat Shipping and Carrier-based shipping methods. This ensures that customers ordering from Wheel Pros will only see shipping options compatible with this warehouse.

✅ And You are Done!

You can now start using Wheel Pros to sell and deliver products.

Optional: Catalog and Fitments setup

We strongly recommend to use Wheel Pros together with Autosync to get good catalog and fitment info. In this case the products will have correct fitment data in the storefront as both wheels and tires fitments are based on attributes and AutoSync and Wheel Pros have compatible attributes for filtering.
