Now that you know what auto integrations are and how they can help grow your product catalog, let’s walk through how to link your X-Cart store to them.
In this section, you’ll learn which add-ons to install and how to enter API credentials from a Data Catalog Provider or Warehouse Distributor to connect them to your store.
1. Install add-ons required for auto integration to work
Auto integrations rely on several add-ons that come with X-Cart Auto. Make sure all necessary add-ons are enabled. If any are missing, click the add-on name in the list below to install it from the X-Cart App Store.
Add-On | Functionality |
| Assigns year, make, model, and submodel attributes to your products and adds a filtering menu to every page, allowing customers to sort product by these attributes. |
| Lets you set brands for products manually or via import. |
| Imports data such as MMY fitments, attributes, images, and categories, with a background process that runs without keeping the import page open. |
| Integrates with AutoSync and enables Wheel and Tire Fitment selection on your website, for customers to filter options by OE fitments or optional OE fitment. |
| Adds a powerful product search and navigation engine. |
Adds smart filters to CloudSearch, allowing customers to filter products by price, category, brand, size, color, and more. | |

3. Obtain your API (or FTP) credentials
After installing the required add-ons, the next step is to set up an account with the Catalog Provider or Warehouse Distributor you plan to use. To do that reach out to the provider directly to request access and complete their onboarding process.
Most providers connect to X-Cart using API (or FTP) keys. Once you get those, just enter them into your X-Cart Admin. If you are not sure how to do this we’ve got step-by-step guides for each integration to help you along the way.
