X-Cart can arrange the store content in static pages, i.e. the pages with static page content that serve to deliver important information to customers in a constant manner. Usually, static pages are used to provide information on Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, etc.

To translate static pages:

1. In the Content > Pages section of your store's Admin area, click on the name of a page you want to edit to open the page details:

2. Switch the language of the Admin area to the target language of your translation (it will be German in our sample). Use the language select box in the right upper corner for the purpose.

3. Translate the page name and the content.

4. Save the changes.

Above we used the ‘Terms and conditions’ page as a sample. For this page, it will also be necessary to translate its name in the footer menu. For this purpose:

1. On the "Footer Menu" page of your store Admin area (Content > Menus > tab Footer Menu), locate the ‘Info Links’ record and click on the submenu items link.

2. Switch the language of the Admin area to the target language of your translation (it will be German in our sample). Use the language select box in the right upper corner for the purpose.

3. Then click ‘Terms and conditions’, translate it, and save the changes.

That's it! Additional translation of a page name is required when a page is included in a header or footer menu in your store.
