Abandoned Cart Statistics

Learn where to check the stats data on the reminder emails sent and on the cart recoveries.

X-Cart allows a store administrator to track the follow-up emails sent to the abandoned cart owners and then check how many followed the reminders to recover the cart and complete the purchase.

Abandoned Cart Emails Statistics

Your online store registered all cart reminders sent automatically and manually and all actions that followed (if any) on the Abandoned Cart Email Statistics page in the Admin area.

  • X-Cart 5.4.x - Orders > Statistics > Abandoned Cart Emails

  • X-Cart 5.5.x - Reports > Abandoned Carts > ACR Email Statistics

To view the abandoned cart emails stats:

  1. Depending on your software version, open the Abandoned Cart Emails or ACR Email Statistics page in your store's Admin area.

  2. Select the period to check the stats data on the page that opens. You can either set it manually or use one of the presets (Today, This week, This month, etc.).

  3. The stats data for the chosen period will display in the table below. You will be able to see how many emails were sent and if they resulted in a payout or not.

This page also allows deleting unnecessary stats data, crucial for businesses that regularly send outstanding amounts of reminders.

To clear the emails stats:

  1. Depending on the software version you use, open the Abandoned Cart Emails or ACR Email Statistics page in your store's Admin area and refer to the form at the bottom of the page:

  2. Set the date before which the stats data should be deleted.

  3. Click the Clear button.

Abandoned Cart Recovery Statistics

Suppose a customer follows the cart recovery link from an abandoned cart reminder email and places an order before their cart becomes abandoned again. In that case, their order is added to your store's cart recovery statistics. A store admin can check the cart recovery statistics on the Abandoned Cart Recovery or Cart Recovery Statistics page of the store's Admin area, depending on their software version.

  • X-Cart 5.5.x - Reports > Abandoned Carts > Cart Recovery Statistics

To view your store's cart recovery statistics for a certain period:

  1. Depending on your software version, open the Abandoned Cart Recovery or Cart Recovery Statistics page.

  2. In the form at the top of the page, specify the statistics period.

  3. Click Search. The statistics will display below in the "Statistics or the period" section.
