The add-on "Custom Product Tabs" allows you to manage your store's global product page tabs. The management of global product page tabs is done on a special page in your store Admin area. To access this page, go to Catalog > Product Tabs.
By default, the standard set of tabs on a storefront product details page includes "Description," "Specification," "Comments," and "Reviews." These global product tabs cannot be deleted and can only be hidden if required.
The rest of the tabs can be edited, enabled, disabled, and deleted if necessary.
Managing Global Product Tabs
The "Product tabs" page of your store's Admin area (Catalog -> Product tabs) allows you to edit, enable/disable, reorder and delete existing global product tabs.
To enable/disable a global product tab, use the ON/OFF toggle in front of it.
To reorder global product tabs, use the "Cross" icon to drag-n-drop the tab to the correct position.
To delete a global product tab, use the "Trash" icon opposite it.
To edit the global product tab's properties, click on the tab name. The "Tabs" tab of a product details page will open. Here you can add required changes to the global tab content. The changes will apply storewide.
When you complete editing global product tabs on the "Product Tabs" page, click the "Save changes" button.
The changes applied to the sorting and viewing options (reorder and enable/disable) will only affect the newly created products.
If you want the changes to apply to all existing products, enable the "Apply sort, and view settings for all products" checkbox before saving the changes.
