A store admin can configure the preferred type of checkout to be used in the store. 

X-Cart 5.5.1: Adjust the "Checkout type" setting on the Cart &amp; Checkout page in your store's Admin area (Store &gt; Cart &amp; Checkout, General tab, Checkout Settings section).

Choose the checkout type you prefer and click Submit to activate it in the storefront.
