It is possible to disable (deactivate) an installed add-on temporarily.

Deactivation stops the add-on operation, but it does not remove the settings you configured nor clears any data generated or collected while the add-on was active. If you wish to remove all the data related to using a specific add-on completely, you need to uninstall it.

  1. In your store’s Admin area, go to the My Apps page of the X-Cart App Store:

  2. On the My Apps page, locate the add-on that needs to be disabled (for example, Add to Cart Popup):

  3. Click on the add-on name to see the details:

  4. Switch the toggle OFF. The add-on is automatically marked for further alterations and adds to the list of selected add-ons:


    You can disable several add-ons at once. Just set the toggle for all add-ons you want to enable to OFF. All marked add-ons fall into the list of selected.

  5. Click Apply changes.

The add-on deactivation starts. Then follows the store re-deployment process, which may take a while to complete. The changes apply to all selected add-ons. When complete, you will find the add-on disabled.
