The Google reCAPTCHA add-on for X-Cart uses the free Google reCAPTCHA service to protect your shop from robots creating fake user accounts and sending spam through your site.
To start using Google reCAPTCHA:
Make sure your store has the Google reCAPTCHA add-on installed and enabled. General add-on installation instructions are available in the section Installing Add-ons from X-Cart App Store.
Sign up for a free Google reCAPTCHA account.
From your Google reCAPTCHA account, get your site key and secret key. You will need to specify them in the Google reCAPTCHA add-on settings in your store Admin area during the add-on configuration.
Check for Google reCAPTCHA on the storefront.
