If you somehow spoiled the shipment's shipping label or will not use it for some reason, you may want to void this shipment.
It is possible to void a shipment only if you have not transmitted it yet; you cannot cancel transmitted shipments.
Hit the Void button beneath the Shipping info section on the order details page and confirm the action to cancel a shipment.
What happens after you confirm this action depends on the type of services you have:
If you are using contract shipping, the add-on will send a Void Shipment request to the Canada Post API. This will officially cancel the shipment and invalidate the previously created shipping label. Your online store will automatically switch the shipment back to the pre-created status, removing the shipping label and tracking pin links for it.
If you are using non-contract shipping, X-Cart will not send a request to the Canada Post API (Canada Post will stay NOT informed about the voiding). Still, your online store will automatically switch the shipment back to the pre-created status, removing the shipping label and tracking pin links for it.
