Even if you've already set up Apple Pay for other methods or PayPal, you'll need to verify your account separately for X-Cart Pay.
Before you Start
Create an X-Payments Cloud Account via your X-Cart Admin.
Sign-up and get approved for X-Cart Pay.
Setting Up Apple Pay
There are three steps to set up Apple Pay in X-Cart Pay:

What is Apple Domain Verification file?
This file proves that you own the website you are setting apple pay on. If your domain isn’t verified using it, the Apple Pay button won’t show up on checkout. You can read more about it here.
Download Apple Domain Verification file
Go to the Payment Processing › X-Cart Pay.
Click Configure next to Apple Pay.
On the Apple Pay Configuration page, click Add Domain.
In Domain field enter URL of your store.
Click Download Verification File.
❌ Do not click Verify yet

Add Domain Verification File to your Store
The file you downloaded should not have a file extension. If your computer added one automatically, rename the file to remove it. Then place the domain verification file in the following path for each domain you’re registering with X-Cart Pay:
https://[DOMAIN_NAME]/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association

Return to Apple Pay Configuration page, click Add Domain.
In Domain field enter URL of your store.

Verify.

Enabling Apple Pay
After verifying your website, change the Apple Pay configuration status to Enabled.
