After the Loyalty Program add-on installation, proceed to the add-on configuration settings page.

The add-on settings consist of the three main blocks:

EARN SETTINGS

This section allows configuring the number of points given to a customer per dollar spent in your store.

  • Rewards multiplier: Number of points awarded to the buyer per dollar spent in your store. You can define it in either whole or decimal numbers.

  • Give points for the shipping cost: Use the toggle to include shipping costs into rewards counting.

  • Give points for taxes: Use the toggle to include tax costs into rewards counting.

  • Reward for orders with coupons: Use the toggle to include orders with coupons into rewards counting.

  • Sign-up reward: Number of points given to a customer for creating an account.

  • Reward for rating a product: Number of points given to a customer to rate a product.

  • Reward for reviewing a product: Number of points given to a customer for reviewing a product.

  • Minimum product rating eligible for the reward: Set the minimum value of a product review or rating for that you will give points.

You can also set per-product rewards that override the "Rewards multiplier" settings for this particular product. Use the "Automatic reward points" toggle in the Price & Inventory section of a product details page for this purpose. If disabled, you can define the number of points a customer will get for buying this product.

REDEEM SETTINGS

This section allows to set up conditions to convert earned points into discounts.

  • Redeem rate: Set a discount a buyer will get for a single reward point spent on checkout. The discount should be a monetary value and defined in either whole or decimal numbers.
The default value is 0,1, meaning that a customer will get a $0.10 discount for every redeemed reward point.

  • Max. reward discount: The maximum discount that a buyer can get for an order by redeeming the reward points. You can set it either as a fixed sum or a percent value.

  • Apply discount on: Select whether the discount should apply on the total or the subtotal.

INFORMATION SETTINGS

This section allows selecting a store page used as a Loyalty Program details page.

Loyalty Program Details page: Define the content that will display on the Loyalty Program page in the storefront (?target=loyalty_program_details)

Your options are as follows:

  • Built-in page template (the default option): If you keep this option, the landing page for the Loyalty Program will use the default content of the related menu added by the add-on. To see the page, enable the Loyalty Program menu on the Menus page as described here.

  • Any existing store page: If you select any of the current store pages, e.g., Terms and Conditions, Shipping, etc., the content of this page will display on the Loyalty Program page in the storefront. To edit the content, you need to edit the properties of the related page.

  • A custom page: Create a custom page for the Loyalty Program details as described here. After the page creation, you can select it in the drop-down.
