A general overview of the Stripe payment options in X-Cart.

Stripe Checkout and Stripe Connect payments integrate into your X-Cart-based store via the Stripe add-on and present a neat payment form on checkout compatible with all types of devices: desktop, tablet, and mobile. In addition, with the Stripe add-on, you can accept credit and debit cards in 135+ currencies.

Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards - PCI DSS Level 1. Your customer’s information is tokenized, so you never need to see or store sensitive information. It also supports PSD2 regulations in Europe and is Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) compliant. Stripe scans every transaction to trigger additional authentication only when required.

Stripe Connect supports digital wallet payment methods, such as Apple Pay®, Google Pay, etc., and accepts local payment methods, like AliPay, iDEAL, WeChat Pay, Klarna, Afterpay / Clearpay, Pay now, Sepa, Bancontact, BLIK, EPS, Giropay, Przelewy24, Sofort, PromptPay, Pix, Konbini, OXXO, Boleto, GrabPay, and FPX.

When used in X-Cart Multivendor, Stripe Connect allows splitting payments among multiple vendors and can be used as an alternative to PayPal for Marketplaces.

To start using Stripe payments in your store, ensure the Stripe add-on is installed and enabled.
