Get started with the Make/Model/Year (MMY) add-on by following these steps:
Ensure your X-Cart store has the Make/Model/Year add-on installed and enabled.
Select the number of MMY filtering levels needed for your store. See Nesting Levels Configuration.
Configure the MMY filtering levels enabled in Step 2.
Choose a name for each of the filtering levels (typically "Year", "Make", "Model", "Submodel" / "Trim").
Decide on the order in which the filtering levels should go in your store. This will affect the order in which the customers will be able to specify parameters when searching for products for a specific vehicle. For example, if the order is set as Make / Model / Year, the customer will first need to select the make, then the model, and then the year.
Configure level-specific settings to control how level information will be displayed on vehicle selection pages and in featured blocks. For example, you can control the sort order of elements (ascending or descending), the display mode (whether the elements should be presented by name, logo, or both), etc.
