After grouping together the variations of a certain product, it is possible to access the list of all the variations via the Variations section of the product details of any of the respective product items.
For example, if we wanted to view all the variations of sneakers that we have created in our store (as described in Configuring Product Variations), we would want to find any sneakers product item in the store's backend, open its details for viewing/editing, switch to the Variations tab and scroll down to the bottom of the Variations section. In the screenshot below you can see the list of variations of our sneakers product as viewed from the details of the product item "Sneakers, Color Blue, Size 43" (SKU SNK-BL-43).
The list of product variations brings together essential information about the variations that is convenient to view on the same page.
The information that can be viewed/adjusted via the list includes the following:
On/Off: Whether the product variation can be viewed on the storefront.
Hidden: Whether the product variation should be shown separately in product lists/product search results.
Image: Product variation image.
Price: Product variation price.
Sale: Product variation sale price (The field is only available with the add-on "Sale" enabled.)
Quantity: Product variation quantity in stock.
Weight (units): Product variation item weight.
To adjust the properties of specific variations, all that needs to be done is edit the respective fields and save the changes by clicking the Save changes button. For example, to hide a certain product variation from the storefront:
Set the On/Off control at the left of the variation name in the list of variations to "Off".
Click Save changes.
The availability status of the product variation will be updated.
It is possible to add more items to the list of variations at any time:
Click the Add New button above the list.
In the popup that appears, select the product item(s) that need to be added to the list of variations.
Save the changes.
The selected items will be added to the list.
If necessary, you can exclude items previously added to the list of variations from the list:
Select the variation(s) that need to be removed from the list by clicking on the "x" control at the far right of the variation name on the list.
Click Save changes.
The selected item(s) will be removed from the list.
