Sometimes it may be necessary to enhance the regular product description with a file attachment to provide your customers with extra information. For example, it can be a user manual for household appliances or a detailed program description for educational courses, etc.

You can do that using the "File attachments" add-on.

The add-on provides a special tab on the product details page in the store Admin area - "Attachments" - which enables you to attach files to the product.

You can upload files from your local computer, your local server, or a URL. The server settings limit the maximum file size.

On the storefront, your store visitors can see and download attachments from the "Description" tab of the product details page:
